COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT
We work to create networks of support around schools, nonprofits, and businesses to prosper our city. We leverage each others' areas of expertise and strengths in resources.
FAMILY TO FAMILY
GBCC is launching a new program called Family to Family and we need your help! Come to Jesus, a church mostly made up of refugees from the Congo and East Africa, meets in our building. As we build relationships with people in this community, we're finding needs that we, as a church family, can help with. We're looking for volunteers to assist families with adjusting to American culture. If you're interested in learning more about this opportunity, click the button below to email us.
Our
City Data
The Greater Green Bay Community Hub, led by the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation in partnership with Brown County United Way, provides a free, dynamic, easy to use, one-stop digital resource for access to community quality of life data. You will find up-to-date data that highlights trends, challenges, and opportunities in our community.
Harvard’s Human Flourishing Program
The Human Flourishing Program at Harvard’s Institute for Quantitative Social Science has developed a measurement approach to human flourishing, based around five central domains: happiness and life satisfaction, mental and physical health, meaning and purpose, character and virtue, and close social relationships. Each of these is nearly universally desired, and each constitutes an end in and of itself.
